BLE Error for Radions
Overview
In the unlikely event, you're unable to connect via Bluetooth to your Mobius devices and you've already performed the Basic BLE Connection Troubleshooting steps, you will want to proceed through our advanced troubleshooting. Keep in mind, these steps should only be performed if you're still unable to connect after following the basic connection troubleshooting.
Start by power cycling all Mobius-controlled devices and force close the Mobius app. Wait 30 seconds and power on all devices then, re-open the Mobius app. All devices should be back online at this time.
Make sure you have the following settings enabled:
iOS Devices:
- Open the "Settings" app then select "Privacy"
- Enable "Location Services" (should be set to "On")
- Now select the "Bluetooth" option
- Ensure "Mobius" is switched to "On"
Android Devices:
- Go to Settings, enable Bluetooth (BLE)
- Go to Apps, or Apps and Notifications, then find the Mobius app
- Make sure that Location services are enabled
Should you continue to have an issue after trying the steps above, please proceed with using the steps below.
*Please note you will lose your settings by proceeding with the steps below.
- Open the Mobius app
- Select "Aquariums" on the top left corner.
- Swipe left over the aquarium, this will delete it
- You can now select "+" on the top right corner to add your devices back
