Overview

If you've recently purchased used devices and would like to add them to Mobius, first verify your devices are Mobius compatible using our Mobius Compatibility Guide.  Once verified, follow the steps below to add those devices.  

If you are adding a device to an existing tank proceed with the steps below.

Steps:

1. Power on all devices
2. Open the Mobius app 
3. Select "Aquariums" on the top left corner
4. Select the desired tank 
5. Select the "..." in the top right corner.
6. Select "Add a device" 
7. Tap to select your desired device(s), then select "Next" 
8. Finally, select the "Reset" option to factory reset and add
   
   If you are adding a device to a new or separate aquarium group please follow the steps below.

Steps:

1. Power on all devices
2. Open the Mobius app 
3. Select "Aquariums" on the top left corner
4. Select the "+" on the top right corner
5. Select "Create New Tank" 
6. Name your aquarium, then select "Next" 
7. Tap on the devices you wish to add to this tank, then select "Next" 
8. Finally, select the "Reset" option to factory reset and add

**If your device does not appear in the "Device Search" start by performing a device-specific button reset. You can find button reset instructions for each product type below.  Once each device has been factory reset, perform the Update Legacy Device Steps**

Versa Reset Steps:

1. Ensure the Versa is powered on
2. Locate the reset port adjacent to the power cable port
3. Using a reset instrument depress the button until the indicator LED flashes red
4. Release the reset button once flashing red and allow 10 seconds for the reset to complete

Versa Base Station Reset Steps:

1. Locate the reset button on the Base Station
2. Tap the reset button two times
3. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds then release

Vectra/VorTech Reset Steps:

1. Ensure the Controller is powered on
2. Press and hold the Mode and Set buttons until the dial flashes red/white/blue (left & center buttons)
3. Press and hold the Mode button until the dial flashes red/purple (left button)
4. Press and hold the Set button until the dial is solid green (center button)

Radion Reset Steps:

1. Ensure the Radion is connected to power
2. Press and hold the center button until all buttons flash red/white/blue
3. Press and hold all 3 buttons until all buttons flash red/purple
4. Press and hold the outer 2 buttons until the Radion resets and the buttons are amber

Update Legacy Device Steps:

1. Power on all Mobius controlled devices 
2. Open the Mobius app and select the "+" option
3. If your devices are still not appearing, select the 'Update Legacy Device" option
4. Select your devices(s) and "Next"
5. Finally, tap to select the "Update All" option
