Overview

One very popular use of the Versa Peristaltic Pump is on calcium reactors.   This is an excellent use for any Versa and we recommend following our best practices when using a Versa in conjunction with a calcium reactor.

Best Practices:

• Push  It's very important to push your solution through the reactor rather than pulling.  The Versa motor is designed to push and configuring your pump in this way helps to lessen the strain on the motor and other components.  
• Inspect  Inspecting your Versa Tubing Assembly regularly for deformation is important.  Keep in mind, it will need to be replaced every 3-6 months depending on your dosage settings.
• Update  Opening the Mobius app monthly and performing available Firmware updates to improve the performance and functionality of the Versa.
• Tubing Retainer Installing the Versa Retaining Ring is important for any Versa application.  If you did not have a Versa Retaining Ring installed, please contact our customer service department to receive one.
