With the changeover to Mobius firmware, there will be no physical changes to any of the VorTech pumps. Performance, modes, etc. will be identical out of the box. Any features added or subtracted will be related to the addition of Mobius control vs. ESL control.  

Same Price:

Pricing for new QuietDrive VorTech pumps will not change with the changeover to Mobius firmware.

More Flow:

EcoTech has traditionally advertised conservative flow numbers for its VorTech products. With the launch of Mobius, this modest advertising approach has proved more confusing than helpful. Informational material will change to reflect closer to actual flow rates for some EcoTech pumps. The actual VorTech performance is completely unchanged!

New Packaging:

EcoTech product packaging evolves periodically for various reasons. With the changeover to Mobius firmware, it was time to make a cosmetic change to packaging.  In the short term, QuietDrive VorTechs shipped after 6/1/2020 will have a Mobius sticker placed on the box.
