Overview

A Red/Green flashing on a VorTech controller indicates a stall error has occurred.  To troubleshoot, power down your VorTech then remove the wetside from your aquarium.  Power the VorTech back on while the wetside is still disconnected.  Should the controller go back to normal operation, this would indicate your wetside needs to be fully disassembled and cleaned.  Start by soaking your wetside in a 50/50 mix of hot water and vinegar.  After a 30 minute soak, fully disassemble and clean all components of your wetside.  The video link below provides a complete tutorial on how to disassemble most VorTech wetsides.
